Bluefield
Gas has a great relationship with the local home builder/developer
market. Generally, if a home builder or developer is designing
a new subdivision or even a new street of homes, they will
contact Bluefield Gas Company to work out the engineering
and the layout of our gas line system and how it will be
installed into their new subdivision or street. This needs
to happen at least 2 to 3 months in advance to plan for
a project. Sometimes we have to go an alternate route to
provide natural gas service. These details need to be addressed
before our gas lines can be extended to serve their needs.
If you need someone to meet with you at your new job site,
call our office at (304) 327-7161 to arrange an appointment.
Approximately
90 to 95 percent of the time, a homebuilder or developer will order natural gas
to be installed to a new subdivision or street. Natural Gas is the preferred
type of energy for home heating and domestic hot water. Natural Gas logs
and space heating are becoming the norm. Almost every new home has at least
one set of gas logs installed. More builders are installing natural gas dryers
and gas ranges than ever before. Gas grills are always in demand
on that new patio or outdoor deck. Don't forget that outdoor gas light
at the end of the sidewalk. If you are installing an in ground swimming pool,
you may need a natural gas pool heater to warm up those cool nights in
the pool.
If
you are a homebuilder or a developer, contact the Bluefield
Gas office at (304) 327-7161 to talk with a representative
about your project. We look forward to working with you
and being a part of your next subdivision or street.
